My name is Mary, and I am the heart and mind behind this shop. With over 24 years of experience as a certified educator, I have dedicated my life to serving others, helping learners from K through Adult, including those in some of the most challenging environments.
My background is rooted in education and service. I hold a Master of Science in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Teaching & Learning, a bachelor's in biology, and a certification in Instructional Design. As a proud US Army Veteran, I’ve learned the value of discipline, resilience, and the importance of mental and emotional well-being. These experiences have shaped my approach to creating wellness resources that are accessible, practical, and impactful.
After years of teaching in various settings, including working with incarcerated adults, I’ve seen firsthand how critical it is to have tools that support mental, emotional, and physical health. I’ve witnessed the transformative power of education and wellness practices, and it’s this belief that drives my work at Planning for Wellness. My goal is to continue being of service, providing high-quality tools that can make a real difference in people’s lives.
